Super Mario Run had a massive debut earlier this month on iOS devices, and with fans and critics alike responding well to the game, Android users are anxious to try it out! So, here's the latest update...

Super Mario Run has been massively successful on iOS devices, with over 40 million downloads during its first four days of release. The game then reached 50 million in just over a week, and like Pokemon Go, bringing one of their most popular franchises to mobile devices has really paid off for Nintendo. 

While the game is free to download, you only get a limited selection of levels before having to pay $10 to continue (similar to Angry Birds, for example). So, when is Super Mario Run coming to Android?

We already know that the game will be released on those devices in 2017, and Nintendo has now announced that users can pre-register to learn when exactly it will be available. To do so, click here
