Nintendo has recently update the official website for the upcoming
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition, revealing that the ESRB(Entertainment Software Rating Board) with a T for TEEN; much like both the original
Xenoblade Chronhicles for the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo 3DS port.
What's interesting here isn't the fact that the game was rated, but the fact that this usually means that we may be getting close to an official release date. When Nintendo announced this remastered edition, they only revealed that the game would be releasing in 2020, but they didn't even give us a tentative release window.
Just last month, we got some unofficial information that may have given away the release date of
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition. Nintendo didn't corroborate the date, but according to a Danish website
the game would be hitting store shelves on the 29th of May.
Now that
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition has been rated by the ESRB, it makes that 29th of May release date a lot more plausible — although this could also mean that the game is releasing sooner than that. We still don't have official information from Nintendo or Monolith Software, but this is still some exciting news.
MONOLITHSOFT’s epic Xenoblade Chronicles game, which originally launched in 2012 on the Wii system, is destined to be reborn on Nintendo Switch as Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. The game, which chronicles the adventures of Shulk and Fiora, is scheduled to launch for Nintendo Switch in 2020.
Xenoblde Chronicles Definitive Edition will release for the Nintendo Switch in 2020.
