Mega Man is one of the most famous videogame franchises stemming from the NES era. The character first appeared in the original
Mega Man developed and published by Capcom and released in 1987 for the NES. It is an action-platform game where players take control of Mega Man as he fights the 6 evil Robot Masters stolen by Dr. Wily, who wants to take over the world. A simple premise for an amazing game.
Although Mega Man's 30th anniversary was last year, Capcom are celebrating it this year and have even announced a new title in the series, plus a
Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and
Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 were released a while ago. Both
Legacy collections compiled all 10 classic Mega Man games and even a
Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1&2 has been announced to come out for consoles and PC this year.
In order to celebrate, Japanese videogame magazine
Famitsu is conducting a survey and they want to collect as much information as possible from Mega Man fans. The survey is a simple questionnaire that asks questions like your age, in order to knwo about the target demographic, favourite Mega Man game, favourite Robot Master, favourite Mega Man BGM and what players expect from Mega Man 11 as well as, of course, wishing the Blue Bomber a happy 30th anniversary.
The results will be featured in an article that commemorates Mega Man's 30th anniversary that will be published on the 17th of May and some respondents' answers may even be featured on the article.
