The new strategy 8-bit game WarGroove has an extensive full editor for players who want to create their own maps. The game serves as a pseudo-sequel to the Advance Wars game and thus prompted this fan to recreate some of the game's maps.

Besides the editor, the game also has an extensive campaign and various multiplayer modes. All of the game's features lets players build their own narratives, another example is the Fire Emblem game. Reddit user HalcyconsGlory has recreated maps from this game as well. Here is the link where you can check out all of the 34 maps the user created.

WarGroove has been out for one week and players have created over 200 maps in the game's editor. The first four maps of these creations are available for anyone to test out and explore. The other maps will eventually hit the full player base.

All 34 Advance Wars 1 Campaign Maps are rebuild. Check them out on Imgur (link in comments). Will be playable soon. from r/wargroove
