Behavior Digital recently worked on Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade, Halo Wars: Definitive Edition, and Star Citizen. They are best known for their own IP Dead by Daylight which was a wonderful (or maybe terrible would be a better word) love letter to all those psychos from the horror movies such as Michael Myers, Junior Sawyer, and even Freddy Krueger.
Deathgarden, their latest production is a 5v1 shooter described by the studio as "a brutal asymmetrical shooter, where powerful hunters prey on agile runners, in a spectacular dystopian bloodsport."Deathgarden basically pits five extremely mobile Runners against one extremely powerful Hunter, with the Runners trying to capture two of three points before the Hunter kills three of them.
Each map is procedurally generated within the ‘Garden’, an arena-like complex where runners willingly enter to compete against the champion hunter. Developer Behavior Digital says if new abilities are added in the future, they will always be available to all players, with no pay-to-win and no grind-to-win.
Set in the near future, DEATHGARDEN revolves around a spectacular real blood sport that is the most popular entertainment on the planet, where powerful Hunters prey on agile Runners.
