The next major entry in the critically acclaimed
Divinity game series has been officially announced by Larian Studios at PAX East 2019. Titled
Divinity: Fallen Heroes, the new tactical game oozing with RPG elements will be a roughly 30-hour experience that will give you a chance to take a look at the Larian-created universe from a slightly different perspective (also with a friend in a two-player co-op mode).
Divinity: Fallen Heroes is being co-developed by Logic Artists, a small independent studio best known for
Expeditions: Viking and
Expeditions: Conquistador. Given that the developer has been recently purchased by THQ Nordic, that publisher might also be in charge of distributing the upcoming spin-off.
According to Larian, "
Heroes marries rich tactical gameplay with RPG choices and consequences, and introduces a wealth of new features and mechanics to the D:OS 2 engine."
Heroes will arrive at some point this year on "
multiple platforms." Be sure to take a look at
