Following the announcement that Quantic Dream's
Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and
Detroit: Beyond Human are coming to the Epic Games Store, the company has announced that 13 more titles will be available exclusively on the EGS for at least a year, which means that you won't be able to purchase most of them on Steam, GOG, or Discord for quite some time – which might be a bummer.
According to Epic,
Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, Afterparty, Control, The Cycle, Dauntless, Industries of Titan, Journey to the Savage Planet, Kine, The Other Worlds, Phoenix Point, The Sinking City, Spellbreak, and
Soul Ash will be available for PC (in most cases – exclusively) through the EGS.
While you will also have a chance to buy
The Outer Worlds' Windows Store version at launch, those who enjoy buying their video games on Steam (or any other digital distribution platform) will have to wait until mid-2020 to legally purchase Obsidian Entertainment’s upcoming RPG extravaganza.
In other news, Humble Bundle confirmed yesterday plans to allow developers sell their titles on the Epic Games Store as well. Be sure to check out the latest EGS announcement trailer down below:
