World Of Warcraft Forever Beta Goes Live Right After Todays 10:30 AM PDT Q&A

Blizzard said the Warcraft Forever beta opens immediately after the 10:30 a.m. PDT Q&A on September 17. Watch it on the Warcraft Twitch or YouTube, then check the Battle.net launcher.

World of Warcraft: Forever beta is not a midnight drop. Blizzard told r/classicwow the client goes live immediately after Thursday's Forever Q&A. That block starts 10:30 a.m. PDT on September 17. Watch it on the official Warcraft Twitch and YouTube channels. When the stream ends, look at Battle.net.

Modern WoW still talks first at 10:00 a.m. PDT for their Q&A. Forever follows at 10:30. There is no posted minute for "immediately after." If the designers run long, the gate runs long. If they keep it tight, North America is in before lunch.

Converted clocks for the 10:30 a.m. PDT start of the Q&A, not the unknown end:

  • 10:30 a.m. PDT
  • 11:30 a.m. MDT
  • 12:30 p.m. CDT
  • 1:30 p.m. EDT
  • 6:30 p.m. BST
  • 7:30 p.m. CEST
  • 3:30 a.m. Friday JST

Guaranteed seats for the beta are through the Skyborne Epic Pack and the Warcraft Forever Collection. Heroic Pack does not include beta. A regular sub does not include beta. The free opt-in is still a wave. McDonald's Australia codes stay on their own claim window. Check the launcher under the Classic row for a World of Warcraft: Forever Beta listing. That is how you know you are in. Forum posters were already hunting an install button on the 16th. Some accounts show the title. Some do not.

First login caps at 20. New class abilities and talents. New profession items. Starter zones. The Legacy system. Two new dungeons in the notes: Hall of Thanes and Ruins of Lordaeron. After two weeks the cap moves to 30 and Excavation Site opens. Characters do not copy to November 4. Raids stay shut until December 9 on live.

The Q&A is the last official talk before those zones exist for testers and gamers explore the new take on Azeroth. Hidden item stats, no day-one dungeon journal, retail-style combat add-on cuts, a three-minute layer warning, controller support, and Meeting Stones that do not teleport are already on the record. Thursday morning is where guilds should pin RP-PvP, how "your server" works when loot reveals, and whether WeakAuras even installs.

Beta runs through October 21, 2026, PST. Name reservation is October 27 through November 3 with any upgrade pack. Live launch is November 4 at 3:00 p.m. PST.

If you do not have a key, watching the stream will not spawn one. If you paid Epic or Collection and the launcher is empty tonight, wait for the Q&A to end before you assume the purchase failed. Blizzard has opened Classic tests after a panel before. This is that pattern with a posted order of operations. Expect que times and the servers to crash quite a lot when the gates first open, as this is very typical of every hyped game launch.

Are you watching the Q&A all the way through, or sitting on the launcher the second they stop talking? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
