HEX Collectibles has opened pre-orders for a new World of Warcraft statue of Alexstrasza, the Dragon Queen and Aspect of Life. The 1/6 scale premium statue is available now through Sideshow, and it comes with a price tag that will make even dedicated collectors think twice.
The statue costs $395 and is expected to ship between April and June 2027. Sideshow is limiting orders to six per person, which suggests the company is expecting plenty of interest from Warcraft fans.
The Life-Binder In Full Detail
The statue is based on Alexstrasza's look in World of Warcraft, and the official product description leans heavily on her royal presence. "Bring the Life-Binder to your collection with the Alexstrasza 1/6 Scale Premium Statue from World of Warcraft. Detailed sculpting and rich gold and crimson tones capture the Dragon Queen's regal presence," the listing reads.
It continues: "Her commanding expression, signature curved horns, ornate jewelry, and gem-adorned armor faithfully recreate her iconic appearance. Flowing crimson hair and draped fabric lend movement to her poised stance, while her ruby-topped staff completes the majestic silhouette."
The pose has her standing tall with her staff, while her hair and cloth flow behind her as if she has just landed. It's a classic look for the character, and the gold and red color scheme matches what players have seen from her in-game for years.
Size, Materials, And Shipping Window
Here are the main details listed for the Alexstrasza statue:
- Scale: 1/6
- Height: 16.14 inches, or 41 cm, including the base
- Width: 9.05 inches, or 23 cm
- Depth: 6.29 inches, or 16 cm
- Materials: Polystone and PU
- Base: Themed display base
- Price: $395

At just over 16 inches tall, Alexstrasza will stand out on a shelf without taking over an entire display case.
Who Is Alexstrasza?
For newer players, Alexstrasza is one of the most important figures in Warcraft lore. She is the leader of the red dragonflight and was granted dominion over life itself by the Titans, which is where the Life-Binder title comes from.
Her story goes all the way back to the Second War in Warcraft II, when the Dragonmaw orcs enslaved her at Grim Batol and used her children as mounts for the Horde's war effort. She has since played a major role in expansions such as Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, and Dragonflight, where she helped lead the dragonflights back to the Dragon Isles.
That long history has made her a fan favorite, and she has also shown up across Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm. It's no surprise that a high-end collectible maker would want her in its lineup.
HEX Has A Growing Blizzard Lineup
Alexstrasza joins a growing list of Blizzard collectibles from HEX. The company has already released statues of characters like Jaina Proudmoore, Varian Wrynn, and Tyrande Whisperwind based on their Hearthstone designs, along with replicas like Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros and the Helm of Domination. It also revealed a 1/6 scale Valeera Sanguinar statue based on her Hearthstone look earlier this year.
A Sylvanas Windrunner 1/6 statue based on her Hearthstone design is also on the way, featuring LED eyes and a base that glows under UV light. Between Sylvanas, Valeera, and now Alexstrasza, collectors who want the full set will be spending a lot over the next year.
The timing is good for Warcraft fans, too. World of Warcraft: Forever launches next month, and Alexstrasza remains a big part of the modern game's story, so interest in the franchise is about as high as it has been in years.
If you plan to grab one, pre-orders are open now on Sideshow. Since the statue is not expected to ship until the second quarter of next year, there is plenty of time to save up before she arrives.
Is $395 a fair price for a statue of the Dragon Queen, or is that too much for a 16-inch collectible?
