It looks like wrestling fans can expect a huge amount of content to come bundled in the game's $29.99 season pass as 2K Games has announced everything we should expect from the Accelerator, Future Stars Pack, Hall of Fame Showcase, Legends Pack, and New Moves Pack DLC expansions, all of which will also be available separately when WWE 2K17 goes on sale worldwide a few weeks from now.

The $4.99 Accelerator will allow players to access all of the game's unlockable content from the very start as well as allowing them to change the rankings and attribute levels of all the Superstars. The Future Stars DLC will cost $8.99, but adds Austin Aries, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Mojo Rawley, and Tye Dillinger as playable Superstars. The Legends Pack is the same price, but includes names like Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, Eddie Guerrero, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, Sycho Sid, and Tatanka.

The Hall of Fame Showcase is $9.99, but will include an impressive selection of matches to play.
  • Cactus Jack and Diamond Dallas Page vs. The Fabulous Freebirds (Jimmy Garvin and Michael “PS” Hayes) (WCW Saturday Night 1992)
  • The Fabulous Freebirds (Buddy Roberts and Michael “PS” Hayes) vs. Kerry and Kevin Von Erich (WCCW 1986)
  • Ivory vs. Jacqueline (SmackDown 2000)
  • Sting (gold and black tights) vs. Ric Flair (Clash of Champions 1988)
  • Sting (n.W.o. Wolfpac ring gear) vs. Bret Hart (WCW Halloween Havoc 1998)
  • Papa Shango vs. The Godfather (Dream Match)
  • Big Boss Man (with Albert) vs. The Big Show (Armageddon 1999)
The New Moves DLC is only $3.99 and adds movies like the Swingout Neckbreaker, the Elbro Drop, the Face Wash Combo, and the TJP Clutch. More exciting is the $9.99 NXT Enhancement/Legacy Pack which will add Apollo Crews, Nia Jax, and Shinsuke Nakamura as playable Superstars. So, that's an exciting selection of content, but so too is the "MyCareer" mode which is detailed in the trailer below.
