We're now less than a month away from the launch of Sony's next-generation console: the PlayStation 5. Though they revealed the console's exterior design a while ago and recently performed an official teardown; they have kept the console's user interface relatively under wraps. The best we've gotten thus far was a brief teaser during the PlayStation 5 reveal event back in June.
Well, it seems we're on the verge of finding out a helluva lot more about the PlayStation 5's user interface. Burger King, of all places, recently shared a clip on social media in which the fast food's titular mascot appears to reveal the PlayStation 5's startup sound. That is to say, the noise that will sound every time we turn on our console.
And this seems to be how we discover it... from a Burger King bag. Check it out below (via @BurgerKing). PlayStation (@PlayStation) themselves shared the fast food joint's tweet with a pair of eyes and ear emojis.
You'll notice that a date appears on-screen as the Burger King walks out of frame with his paper bag that contains the PlayStation 5 startup sound: 10/15. That is to say, October 15th. Just a day away. Since PlayStation quote-tweeted the tease, it seems safe to say the PlayStation 5's user interface is going to be revealed soon! Thank you, Burger King.
