Each month, PlayStation gives away a couple of free games to those that are subscribed to their premium service, PlayStation Plus. While the main draw of PlayStation Plus is being able to play online multiplayer games, the free monthly games are a nice bonus.
For example, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, NBA 2K20, and Erica were all available for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers in July. However, they're no longer available for free as they have been replaced by a new pair of free games — now that it's August.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remasted only recently released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Nevertheless, it's now available for free with PS Plus. The title is pretty self-explanatory; it's a remaster of the iconic campaign mode from the 2009 entry in the long-running Call of Duty first-person shooter series.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, on the other hand, releases today as a free PlayStation Plus game. It's a massively multiplayer online game wherein up to sixty players compete against each other in traversing a perilous, colourful obstacle course.
Both of these games will be available for free with PlayStation Plus (via the PlayStation Store) until August 31st — when they will be replaced by September's free PlayStation Plus selection.
