Fast Striker is a vertical shooter game developed and published by NG:DEV TEAM for the Neo Geo MVS, Sega Dreamcast and iOS. The game is now making its way onto the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita and will be available digitally on the
16th of October.
The game is actually a "homebrew" title that was released in 2010, a long time after the Neo Geo MVS and Sega Dreamcast were discontinued.
Fast Striker draws inspiration from classic vertical shooters from the 16-Bit and 32-Bit era, which is why the game even embraces the same graphics and art style found in other classics from the genre.
Fast Striker will be featuring 6 action-packed stages with huge boss battles, Novice, Original, Maniac, and Omake game modes, and an elaborate scoring system. From a technical standpoint,
Fast Striker will allow players to adjust the game's screen settings in order to give it that classic CRT look, as well as changing the game's control settings; on top of that, the game is locked at a stable 60fps allowing players to get the precision required in vertical shooters.
