July is almost here, which means that Sucker Punch's highly anticipated Ghost of Tsushima is releasing in less than three weeks from today — finally becoming available on Friday the 17th of July as a PlayStation 4 exclusive title.
At this point in time, chances are that most players already know about Ghost of Tsushima, and are already sold on the game, its premise, its breathtakingly beautiful open world, and overall gameplay; considering Sucker Punch's history, it is very safe to assume that players will not be disappointed.
What's more, the developers have already stated that swords in this game will not be "nerf tubes" at all, sine they will be as lethal as a real Japanese sword should be; making it easier for players to defeat their enemies in one single cut. This isn't to say that the game itself will be easy, since the same rules apply to Jin, and players will also be very vulnerable to enemy attacks.
Gameplay aside, the other aspect that has players gushing about Ghost of Tsushima is its story. Not much has been shared about the characters, but trailers lead us to believe that the story will be an emotional rollercoaster from beginning to end — which is also something that Sucker Punch has perfectly done in the past; never this ambitious, though.
For those players who can't wait to play the game, learn more about Jin's story as the "Ghost of Tsushima", and see more gameplay, Sucker Punch has shred yet another amazing trailer for Ghost of Tsushima that keeps making us wish the highly anticipated title was already here.
Take a look:
In 1274, the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the Japanese island of Tsushima and slaughters its legendary samurai defenders. Jin Sakai is one of the last survivors of a noble samurai clan. To combat his overwhelming foes, he must pioneer deadly new fighting techniques--the way of The Ghost--and wage an unconventional war for the people of Japan.
Ghost of Tsushima is expected to release exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on Friday the 17th of July.
