Ever since Marvel Games and developer Camouflaj announced MARVEL's Iron Man VR, players have gotten more excited about this new PlayStation VR experience. The game was initially received with mixed reactions, but the developers were quick to give players a reason to want to play it.
MARVEL's Iron Man VR may still not be the third-person action-adventure game that many fans of the Armoured Avenger would have wanted, but those who have already had a chance to play the game's demo know that it has the potential to become something really special.
According to Camouflaj, they wanted MARVEL's Iron Man VR to be more than a glorified tech demo. The developer has even revealed, via the PlayStation Blog, that the game's main campaign will take a solid 8 to 10 hours to complete — which is actually longer than most VR experiences out there.
All in all, the developers at Camouflaj set out to deliver something special with MARVEL's Iron Man VR, and it seems like they have successfully managed to pull this off. Whatever the case, players will finally be able to see for themselves once the game becomes available this Friday the 3rd of July.
Now that MARVEL's Iron Man VR is just around the corner, PlayStation and Camouflaj have shared an exciting new trailer that shows off some new gameplay, and also introduces Living Laser as yet another villain that will seemingly be working with Ghost.
Check it out:
Tony Stark has retired from making weapons and instead creates technology used to battle evil as Iron Man. After several years as a world-famous Super Hero, Tony is attacked by the mysterious Ghost, a hacker and anti-corporate activist who repurposes old Stark Industries weapons. In her efforts to topple his empire, Ghost attacks Stark’s corporate locations around the world, leading to ever-escalating stakes and a final showdown.
MARVEL's Iron Man VR is expected to release for PlayStation VR on Friday the 3rd of July.
