When MARVEL's Iron Man VR was initially revealed, some players were disappointed to see that what could've been a third-person action-adventure title featuring the Armoured Avenger was "nothing but a tech demo," but the developers at Camouflaj reassured players that this was definitely not the case.
A playable demo of the game was released for PlayStation VR users to try out, and most, if not all, criticism players had was pretty much gone. The MARVEL's Iron Man VR demo actually got a lot of people excited to step in the shoes of millionaire Tony Stark, and feel like the were really flying inside the Iron Man suit as, well, Iron Man.
Upon releasing, MARVEL's Iron Man VR was received with relatively positive reviews, with a more than decent 73/100 on review aggregator site Metacritic, although some complain about the game being too short for its own sake, and at times a tad too repetitive.
Regardless, fans of the iconic character from MARVEL Comics have enjoyed the game for what it is, and the developer has recentl revealed that they are not done with MARVEL's Iron Man VR just yet.
Developer Camouflaj announced earlier today that MARVEL's Iron Man is getting a free update that will be adding New Game+ — which will become available once players beat the game's main campaign — as well as new weapons, custom armour decos, challenges, and bug fixes that enhance the experience as a whole.
The best news is that this new update is completely free of charge, and has just become available today!
Among the new weapons added to the game we can find a continuous Beam Repulsor, an EM Charge Cannon to help players defeat enemies like Skull, Revenant, and Wight drones, a Micro Swarm attack to get rid of large groups of enemies, and a Gravity Bomb that traps multiple enemies in one location.

Tony Stark has retired from making weapons and instead creates technology used to battle evil as Iron Man. After several years as a world-famous Super Hero, Tony is attacked by the mysterious Ghost, a hacker and anti-corporate activist who repurposes old Stark Industries weapons. In her efforts to topple his empire, Ghost attacks Stark’s corporate locations around the world, leading to ever-escalating stakes and a final showdown.
MARVEL's Iron Man VR is currently available exclusively on PlayStation VR.
