MARVEL's Iron Man VR is almost here, as it will finally become available for the PlayStation VR next week — on Friday the 3rd of July, to be precise — and giving players an experience that the developers have promised will make them feel like the Armoured Avenger.
The more the developers at Camouflaj reveal about this new VR game, the more we believe that this will definitely be a fully fledged game, and not just a glorified tech demo that will likely take players an hour to complete; there is a lot of content here, if the game's demo is anything to go by.
Camouflaj has revealed in the past that they wanted to give players a story worthy of their time, and one that will be heavily inspired by the countless Iron Man comics out there — which is definitely reassuring, considering how other superhero games have nailed this aspect in the past.
Today PlayStation and Camouflaj have shared yet another behind the scenes video for MARVEL's Iron Man VR, which reveals that the developers have added in Tony's garage in Malibu, so that players can relax, train, and even fully customise the Iron Man suit, so that it feels like it is their very own suit.
Take a look:
Tony Stark has retired from making weapons and instead creates technology used to battle evil as Iron Man. After several years as a world-famous Super Hero, Tony is attacked by the mysterious Ghost, a hacker and anti-corporate activist who repurposes old Stark Industries weapons. In her efforts to topple his empire, Ghost attacks Stark’s corporate locations around the world, leading to ever-escalating stakes and a final showdown.
MARVEL's Iron Man VR is expected to release for PlayStation VR on the 3rd of July.
