Sony has recently announced that the PlayStation 5's PS Camera adaptor will be bundled with Camouflaj's MARVEL's Iron Man VR, and that players should expect to get this new bundle later this month, although they didn't really give us an official release date.
For those who may not be aware, the PS Camera adaptor is a cable that is actually required to connect the PlayStation Camera to the PlayStation 5 in order to use the VR headset. I wasn't aware of this at all, so I did a quick search and found out that Sony is actually allowing users to request their adaptor from PlayStation Support for free.
It is also important to mention that PlayStation has confirmed that this MARVEL's Iron Man VR bundle that includes the PS Camera adaptor will be available in the United States and Canada; no information on whether the adaptor will also be bundled in other regions.
This is actually a pretty decent deal. While Sony has made it possible for players to request the PS Camera adaptor completely free of charge, the MARVEL's Iron Man VR bundle includes two Move motion controllers, VR headset, PS Camera, and, of course, a disc with the game.
It is also worth mentioning that until the MARVEL's Iron Man VR bundle includes the PS Camera adaptor, requesting it from PlayStation is the only way to get this product; Sony still isn't selling it separately.
Tony Stark has retired from making weapons and instead creates technology used to battle evil as Iron Man. After several years as a world-famous Super Hero, Tony is attacked by the mysterious Ghost, a hacker and anti-corporate activist who repurposes old Stark Industries weapons. In her efforts to topple his empire, Ghost attacks Stark’s corporate locations around the world, leading to ever-escalating stakes and a final showdown.
MARVEL's Iron Man VR is currently available exclusively on PlayStation VR.
