Leading up to the release of the original MARVEL's Spider-Man, back in September of 2018, Insomniac Games began releasing Daily Bugle news about the game, which revealed some very interesting details about both the game itself and Spider-Man himself; as narrated by J. Jonah Jameson.
Now that Insomniac Games has officially announced the release dte for MARVEL's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, they have decided to bring back the Daily Bugle Now publications, which reveals new details about Miles' first steps as a fully fledged superhero; this time written by Robbie Robertson, who fans will know from the comics as one of Peter's lifelong colleagues.
Since MARVEL's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be taking place a year after the events of the first game, it is assumed that Miles has had some time to get used to his new abilities, but this new infomration reveals that this new Spider-Man(Miles) was actually perceived as sloppy at first, but has been seen being mentored by the original Spider-Man(Peter).
We also get a short glimpse of what seems to be a scene from an upcoming trailer, that sees both Spider-Men swinging through New York City — which looks like a scene that was definitely inspired by the award winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse animated movie.
In the latest adventure in the Marvel’s Spider-Man universe, teenager Miles Morales is adjusting to his new home while following in the footsteps of his mentor, Peter Parker, as a new Spider-Man. But when a fierce power struggle threatens to destroy his new home, the aspiring hero realizes that with great power, there must also come great responsibility. To save all of Marvel’s New York, Miles must take up the mantle of Spider-Man and own it.
