When MARVEL Games and developer Camouflaj first unveiled MARVEL's Iron Man VR, a big chunk of players didn't really give the game a second chance; complaining that it shouldn't be a PlayStation VR title, but a fully fledged third-person action-adventure game like MARVEL's Spider-Man.
Thankfully, those players who doubted the quality of MARVEL's Iron Man VR have come to their senses, and are now more excited than ever to finally get their hands on this game; especially after Camouflaj released a playable demo and gave them a chance to try out the game for themselves.
Camouflaj has also revealed that they didn't want the game to feel like a glorified technical demo, reassuring players that MARVEL's Iron Man VR is a Triple-A title through and through; one that will give players a proper Iron Man story, and will actually make them feel like the Armoured Avenger.
PlayStation has been recently releasing some very interesting behind the scenes featurettes that see the developers sharing details about the upcoming title, and tody they have released a new video that sees them explaining how they were able to bring Tony Stark to life.
As per the video, players and fans of the character should rest assured, as the developers at Camouflaj have revealed that whenever they didn't know what to do next, they would always go back to the source material, and borrow ideas from the character's insanely rich lore.
Take a look:
Tony Stark has retired from making weapons and instead creates technology used to battle evil as Iron Man. After several years as a world-famous Super Hero, Tony is attacked by the mysterious Ghost, a hacker and anti-corporate activist who repurposes old Stark Industries weapons. In her efforts to topple his empire, Ghost attacks Stark’s corporate locations around the world, leading to ever-escalating stakes and a final showdown.
MARVEL's Iron Man VR is expected to release for PlayStation VR on the 3rd of July.
