Sony has finally revealed the home screen of the highly anticipated PlayStation 5, and there are actually quite a number of things that will enhance the video gaming experience for players, as the console's new features pretty much tracks everythign the players does in-game.
Besides the look and feel of the system's menu, there are a bunch of new features that will help players better assess what's left for them to do in whatever game it is that they are playing. In this video, in particular, we get a look at the Activities feature and how it works in the upcoming Sackboy: A Big Adventure.
As per the video, we see that the Activities feature will give players information about the levels in Sackboy: A Big Adventure, such as their progress and estimate time of completion; giving players a pretty useful time-assessing tool.
What's more, some activities can even take players to that specific activity they want to tackle, which will be quite useful for Trophy hunters and completionists. Likewise, some in-game activities offer official game help, but there is a caveat, as they are limited to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
This exclusive help feature for PlayStation Plus subscribers allows players to watch a video that will guide them through whatever it is that they need to do in order to complete specific activities. What's even more fascinating is that players can leave the video playing on the side of the screen whithout having to exit the game.
Another cool feature is the new Party Chat feature, tht will even allow players to watch what members of their party are playing in real time, while they also play their very own game. Players don't even need to be playing the same game for this to work, so one member of the party could be playing MARVEL's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, while the other plays Sackboy: A Big Adventure.
We have also confirmation that the PlayStation Store is no longer an app, which means that it is integrated into the PlayStation 5's system; making accessing the store easier than ever before. Furthermore, players will be able to find both PlayStation 5 and backwards compatible PlayStation 4 titles.
