The very first game in the inFAMOUS series was released on May 26th, 2009. That's exactly ten years ago from today. What was inititally just a PlayStation 3 title has evolved into a popular series of games, the most recent instalment being inFAMOUS: Second Son which served as a launch title for the PlayStation 4 back when that released in 2014.

To celebrate the anniversary, Sucker Punch Productions recently took to social media (@SuckerPunchProd) to share some interesting details about the original inFAMOUS game. Things like the game's original title: "True Hero." And that there was originally a feature which allowed players to parkour using their motorcycle.

There's even some gameplay from a then in-development incarnation of inFAMOUS on show in the below tweets. A lot of these clips show a game that appears much more lighthearted and cartoony than the one we're all familiar with, the former would obviously eventually evolve into the latter. This early version also appears to be quite ambitious, with more customisation and traversal systems than the final product would actually feature.
