The long-awaited sequel to
The Last of Us has already been in development for at least 2 years and, while the game still doesn't have an official release date, fans can simply not wait for this title to come out; hoping to see some more gameplay to quench their
The Last of Us thirst.
Some fans were even hoping that some new gameplay for
The Last of Us Part II would be showccased during The Game Awards; especially since Sony completely skipped their traditional PlayStation Experience this year, as well as next year's E3.
We have some bad news for fans of
The Last of Us series, since Naughty Dog has just announced that they don't have anything to share from
The Last of Us Part II at The Game Awards this year. On the plus side, they are making fans know that they're working hard on the highly anticipated title, and they will be sharing some more information when the time is right.
In The Last of Us Part II, Ellie is now 19 and has found a semblance of peace and normality living in Jackson. She’s had a chance to be a teenager and forge lasting relationships. When that peace is disrupted by a violent act, Ellie is thrust into a brutal journey of retribution, fueled by a need to bring those that have wronged her to justice, pushing her to her very limits.
The Last of Us Part II still hasn't been given an official release date.
