The Last of Us is an action-adventure survival game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony that was initially released for the PlayStation 3 in 2013, becoming a massive hit overnight and getting critical praise upon releasing.
The game follows the story of Joel and Ellie in a world infested by zombie-like creatures that have been infected by some spores that have turned them into mindless creatures. Ellie seems to be the key to finding a cure as she is immune to these spores, which has the duo travelling the country in order to find someone that can help them.
The Last of Us is nothing short of a masterpiece, which is why people had been clamouring for a sequel to the game for years. In 2016 fans of the game finally got their wish granted, as Naughty Dog and Sony revealed
