It's been a while since we heard anything official about The Last of Us Part II. Since the game's initial reveal back in December of 2016, the only substantial information dump came during E3 last year. All we've gotten since then are rumours about the game's release date.

Well now one of the upcoming sequel's voice actors has taken to social media to hype up the experience. Ian Alexander will be playing Lev in The Last of Us Part II. Lev was the young boy with a scarred face who featured in the sequel's gory Paris Games Week trailer.

A fan of the post-apocalyptic video game series recently put the question to Alexander: what has it been like working on The Last of Us Part II? His response (@ianalexander) is sure to rekindle your excitement for the upcoming game.

The tweet teases that The Last of Us Part II will simply be the "best game ever," and that his experience working on the title has been "exhilarating, inspirational, and life-changing." While Alexander might be a bit biased, it's quite the tantalising claim. We'll have to wait until the game comes out to find out whether his description is accurate.
