There were a few updates from Sony this week concerning the PSN outage, including attempts to clarify the outage, and that they don't believe that credit card information was compromised. They even released a FAQ related to the attack (you can view it here).
Although Sony expected to restore some services this week, with today being Saturday, and the network still being down, it doesn't look like they were successful.
Recent estimates put the cost of the outage and attack at $24 billion. As if that wasn't bad enough, a recent survey conducted by CouponCodes4U shows that PS3 owners aren't happy and that 21% are considering moving to the Xbox 360 because PSN is still down.
