Atlus and Vanillaware's upcoming game, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, is a brand new title that is on its way to release in the west, following its Japanese release in 2019. Before its release, the game was forced to delay from its initial 2018 release, thus canceling its Playstation Vita version.
Following the story of 13 characters and 13 storylines, the game manages to balance everything into one cohesive adventure story. Upon its debut, in Japan, the game was a massive hit, and fans in the west have since been waiting for that release.
Initially, the game was set to release in early September; the game was later delayed to late September, which will contain an artbook if pre-ordered. While fans continue to wait for the western release, a brand new "Doomsday" trailer was released.
As the official drop date gets closer, fans can most likely expect more marketing announcements. Make sure to check out the brand new trailer below!
13 Sentinels is primarily an adventure game, with players taking control of 13 different protagonists, each with their own unique but intertwining stories, slowly unravelling an intricate science fiction plot involving time travel, conspiracy, and betrayal, all with an apocalypse brought about by gigantic mechanical monsters of unknown origin looming ahead.
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is set to release in the west, on Playstation 4, on September 22nd!
