A game two years in the making, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim tells a unique tale revolving around 13 characters who each have a story to tell. The game was developed by Vanillaware and released by Atlus in Japan, and following its releases celebrated high acclaim.
Directed by George Kamitani, both he and the developers were forced to postpone the game's release from 2018, which was a major blow to fans. Following that delay, the Playstation Vita version of the title was also scrapped during development.
While the game has already released in Japan, the North American audience has been patiently waiting to give the game a spin this September. Sadly, following an announcement by Atlus, fans will have to wait a little bit longer for the release.
Atlus announced the delay with a promise that upon release, the game would feature a free patch at launch to add English audio; there was also confirmation of many subtitled languages such as English, French, Italian, Spanish, and German. While the wait may be a couple more weeks after its initial September 8th launch, there is no doubt that it will be worth it in the end.
