Recently, the Playstation State of Play event revealed some of the new additions that will be coming to the latest Crash Bandicoot installment, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time. Following the third game in the franchise, fans of the game have been waiting a long time for this sequel.
Following the recent remaster of the original trilogy, speculation on a new Crash game has been off and on over the years, but never a hard confirmation. However, it wasn't until earlier this summer that an official announcement for the first title was announced.
With its October release spinning closer and closer, developer Toys For Bob has a few more reveals for the upcoming title. Aside from the new N. Verted mode, an announcement also showed off a new playable character, Dingodile! According to the devs, the story of Dingodile after the third game continues after he gives up a life of evil but still has some unfinished business.
New character skins for Crash and Coco were also revealed as a feature that fans can collect by overcoming various challenges. Purely cosmetic, these suits will add a lot of replay value to the game. Make sure to check out the new screenshots below, and we would love to hear your thoughts on the additions in the comments!
Doctor Neo Cortex, Doctor Nefarious Tropy and Uka Uka escape from their space-time prison and create a rip in the fabric of time; in doing so, they expose a multiverse. Crash and Coco must unite and work with the four Quantum Masks to avert the crisis and restore order to the multiverse.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will release on October 2nd for PS4 and Xbox One!
