The Game Awards 2018 might be a gaming event you don't want to miss, as we already know that
Metal Gear Solid and
Death Stranding director Hideo Kojima will show up during the event and IronCold Studios' big-budget multiplayer
Alien video game might be officially announced there, too. If the recent rumor is true, this year's Game Awards will truly be a show worth remembering for years.
Brazilian site Combo Infinito (via GamingBolt) reports that Sony will be revealing the release windows (or even set release dates) for
Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima and
Dreams at the event that will take place on December 6, 2018. Before you will activate your hype thrusters, please remember that it's just a rumor (even if it's not entirely beyond belief) that should be taken with a healthy grain of salt.
As a friendly reminder,
Death Stranding is Hideo Kojima's mysterious open-world title starring Guillermo del Toro, Norman Reedus, and Mads Mikkelsen. Sucker Punch's ninja epic
Ghost of Tsushima was announced over a year ago during Paris Games Week 2017, while
Dreams is the next major project from the creators of the acclaimed
LittleBigPlanet series and
Tearaway from Media Molecule.
The year is 1274. Samurai warriors are the legendary defenders of Japan—until the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the island of Tsushima, wreaking havoc and conquering the local population. As one of the last surviving samurai, you rise from the ashes to fight back. But honorable tactics won’t lead you to victory. You must move beyond your samurai traditions to forge a new way of fighting—the way of the Ghost—as you wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Japan.
Ghost of Tsushima has yet to receive a release date.
