Ghost of Tsushima is the latest project of the Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves and Infamous creators which was revealed during last year's Paris Games Week. It quickly became one of the show's biggest and most pleasant surprises thanks to the game's unique setting and the Nioh and Onimusha vibes. According to Sucker Punch, Ghost will tell the story of Samurai and Ninja set in the feudal Japan.
This year's Into the Pixel 2018 collection includes many images but most prominent ones are from Sony’s Ghost of Tsushima. Into the Pixel is an annual exhibition of video game arts held by Entertainment Software Association which was established back in 2004. The art below was created by artist Romain Jouandeau and he decided to tile his latest, pretty wonderful and chilly work "Cove".
All 12 images selected in Into the Pixel 2018 will be auctioned off on eBay beginning on June 12.
The year is 1274. Samurai warriors are the legendary defenders of Japan—until the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the island of Tsushima, wreaking havoc and conquering the local population. As one of the last surviving samurai, you rise from the ashes to fight back. But honorable tactics won’t lead you to victory. You must move beyond your samurai traditions to forge a new way of fighting—the way of the Ghost—as you wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Japan.
