Ghost of Tsushima is an upcoming, third-person open-world title by Sucker Punch Productions. For ages, fans have been clamouring for news about the game's release date. Many expected an announcement during Sony PlayStation's recent State of Play livestream but no cigar.

However, that presentation did tease something big to do with Ghost of Tsushima will be showed off during The Game Awards. Now, the annual event has passed — and there was indeed a big announcement.

During The Game Awards, a new and exciting gameplay trailer for Ghost of Tsushima was released. While the absolutely stunning visuals and tense gameplay are a sight to behold; the best aspect of the trailer is that it confirms a release window for the highly anticipated title.

Ghost of Tsushima will be releasing exclusively for the PlayStation 4 in Summer 2020. You can check out the trailer below (via PlayStation Europe).
