In early 2017, Guerilla Games kicked off an exciting brand new franchise with the release of Horizon Zero Dawn. The open-world role-playing game is exclusively available for the PlayStation 4.

Last week, it was reportedly revealed that London Studio are working on a Horizon Zero Dawn virtual-reality game — find out more on that here. Even more recently than that, Guerilla Games put out a job listing which seems to blatantly suggest that they're at work on a sequel to the acclaimed 2017 title.

The Dutch studio are looking for a Technical Vegetation Artist — a job which would focus on "the creation of vegetation assets that are used to dress the game world." Now, if you're familiar with Horizon Zero Dawn in the slightest, you should know that the game is rife with pastures of greenery and the like.

However, if you're still not convinced that the listing is in regards to a sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn; further on, the listing outright name drops Horizon: "Within Guerrilla, we have four teams dedicated to creating the stunning environments of Horizon [and] one team focuses on the creation of lush and stunning vegetation." You can check out the listing for yourself here.

In a world where Machines dominate the earth and mankind lives on in primitive tribal societies, one woman sets out to find her destiny among the remnants of the ancient past. As Aloy, you must brave the Machine-infested wilderness and unearth secrets that lie buried deep within the earth. Will you embrace your calling… or pass into oblivion unsung?

Horizon Zero Dawn is exclusively available for the PlayStation 4.
