Remember that insane game in which the player rolled around collecting things the entire time until he was big enough to become a star?
If your answer is yes, that game would be the cult classic title
Katamari Damacy, and the creator of that title - Keita Takahashi - is finally sharing his newest wild ride with his fans.
The new game - titled
Wattam - lives up to the zaniness fans would expect in the release trailer alone. In the launch trailer for the game, which released this week, we meet Mayor, the main character of the story (as opposed to Prince from
Katamari Damacy) in a strange situation that would set up a game obviously made with this creator's specific strange signature.
Meet Mayor in the release trailer below!
The characters are oddly shaped - which brings in the name of the game.
Wattam, according to the synopsis of the game is a combination of the Japanese word (wa) and the Tamil word (vattam) for circle.
Both solo and multiplayer adventures are available when exploring the insanity of
Wattam, and players have the ability to transform into poops and fruits, leading the mind to wonder what else could be available in this next chapter from the wonderful mind of Takahashi.
What do you think? Will you be checking this title out? The full trailer for the game is below - let us know your thoughts in the comments!
