Square Enix reveals its second remaster this week, after announcing yesterday that
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles will be making a return on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch next year.
The Last Remnant Remastered was just announced for the PlayStation 4 and will be arriving this year on the
6th of December. The game was originally released for the Xbox 360 and Windows in 2008, and this will be the first time it's been ported to a PlayStation console as one port was planned for the PlayStation 3 but was, sadly, never released.
With the announcement, Square Enix released a teaser trailer that gives us a very, very small glimpse at the in-game graphics—which the developer claims have been updated. As an interesting fact,
The Last Remnant was Square Enix's very first title to use the Unreal Engine.
Take a look:
Mitra, yama, qsiti, sovani... These four races exist in one world. A world filled with Remnants — mysterious artifacts from an ancient era.
The Last Remnant Remastered will be available for the PlayStation 4 on the 6th of December.
