Sony has really taken their sweet time to reveal any details pertaining the ridiculously highly anticipated PlayStation 5, but new information seems to suggest that players will not have to wait long to finally see some games coming to the yet-to-be-unveiled console.
According to Bloomberg's reputable video game reporter Jason Schreier and tech reporter Takashi Mochizuki, Sony is planning a digital event in which the company will be showcasing some next-gen titles for the PlayStation 5, and they claim that this presentation could be livestreamed as soon as next week.
Schreier suggests that the dates may vary, but the alleged digital event is likely to be streamed on Wednesday the third of June — which is exactly a week from today. Considering that most people expect video game companies to reveal information about upcoming titles in June, this date seems more than plausible.
While this presentation is expected to showcase PlayStation 5 games, fans will have to keep waiting for that long-awaited console reveal, since Schreier also mentions that Sony isn't unveiling the highly anticipated next-gen console just yet.
Regardless, this is still some very exciting news if true, so we'll just have to keep waiting for Sony to officially announce this rumoured digital event.
