Sony Announces The PLAYSTATION CLASSIC And It's Coming Sooner Than You Might Think
There have been rumblings for a while now that we're going to get a PlayStation Classic loaded with original games and now Sony has made the news official with a trailer, price details, and the first few games.
Sony has finally announced the PlayStation Classic and it's set to be bundled with 20 pre-loaded games. The first handful have been revealed as Final Fantasy VII, Tekken 3, Jumping Flash, and Ridge Racer Type 4, while it's said that more "legendary titles" will be announced in the near future. Why they're holding back isn't clear, especially as a release date of December 3rd has now been set.
We also know that it will retail for $99.99 in the US, $129.99 in Canada, $149.99 in Australia, and £89.99 in the UK. That's not a bad price, especially when you consider what actually comes included.
45% smaller than the original PlayStation, each unit comes with an HDMI and USB cable as well as two original controllers. However, you will have to buy a compatible USB AC adapter to use the console. It's a smart move by Sony and Nintendo fans are now no doubt wondering when a Nintendo 64 Classic will be released. What games do you hope to see on this new PlayStation console?
