Sony has just announced the
DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment, which is a very interesting add-on that gives players two, fully map-able extra buttons that add versatility to the player's gaming experience.
The
DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment is exactly that, a peripheral that users attach to the DualShock 4 — which comes with two programmable back buttons that allow players to map up to 16 different functions.
This attachment also features an OLED screen that helps players to easily assign different functions to these back buttons, and the screen also works as a button that saves up to three different profiles; making everything a lot more convenient for players.
The announcement trailer for the
DualShock4 Back Button Attachment doesn't reveal its release date, but the official PlayStation Twitter accounts for the US and the UK reval that this peripheral will become available on the
23rd of January in North America, and on the
14th of February in the United Kingdom; retailing for $29,99USD and €29.99 in Europe.
The DUALSHOCK®4 Back Button Attachment was designed to deliver more versatility and performance when gaming while maintaining the comfort and feel of the DUALSHOCK®4 wireless controller you’ve come to love. Sleek design and two back buttons map-able to any digital button on the controller, while a high-fidelity OLED display provides clean cut information.
The DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment will become available on the 23rd of January in 2020.
