When Sony announced that they would be hosting a special PlayStation 5 presentation this week, they made it ver yclear that they would only be revealing some of the games that will be releasing for the highly anticipated console.
Consider that Sony themselves stated that this was a game-centred presentation, many assumed that they would not be giving us our first look at the hardware. As it turns out, most of us were wrong, since Sony decided to wrap things up with the reveal of the PlayStation 5.
We've already seen the DualSense — which is the PlayStation 5's controller — and we now got a look at the console itself, which looks way more stylish than it has any right to be. That's not all, though, since Sony also reveals that there will be two different consoles at launch.
As per the official reveal, the PlayStation 5 will include an Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive, while the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition comes without the disc drive; Sony reassures, however, that the experience will be almost exactly the same — no matter which one you choose.
Unfortunately, Sony still has to reveal the PlayStation 5's official release date, but they are still aiming for a launch this Holiday, so players will still have to keep patiently waiting for the developers to reveal more information about their stylish new console.
