The main incentive to subscribe to PlayStation Plus is that it allows you to play online against or with others. However, an added benefit is the free games that subscribers are gifted each and every month. For instance, both Sonic Forces and Shadow of the Colossus were March's free PlayStation Plus games. They've now been reverted back to their usual price.
It's time for April's free PlayStation Plus games — DiRT Rally 2.0 and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End (via PlayStation Blog). The pair of games will be available for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers until May 4th as that's when yet another pair of games will be made available for free and replace the current ones.
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is the fourth instalment in Naughty Dog's iconic Uncharted video game series. It's a third-person action-adventure game in which the player assumes the role of Nathan Drake. After retiring to live a normal life with his wife Elena, Nathan longs to return to treasure hunting so jumps at the opportunity to assist his estranged brother Samuel with a job.
DiRT Rally 2.0 is a racing game developed by Codemasters. Players participate in rallies across the world on both tarmac and off-road as well as under varying weather conditions. Despite the "2.0" in the title; DiRT Rally 2.0 is actually the thirteenth instalment in the Colin McRae Rally video game series — and the seventh with "DiRT" in the name.
