We have some great news for those Star Wars fans who have always dreamed of fighting the galaxy's most powerful villains armed with nothing but their trust lightsaber, as Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series has just been announced for the PlayStation VR, and it will let players do exactly that.
Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series is being developed by ILMxLAB, and is expected to launch this Summer for the PlayStation VR, and will see players immersing themselves in the world of Star Wars in a way that has never been done before; or successfully, at least.
As revealed by ILMxLAB's Executive Creative Producer Mark S. Millar, Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series is in the franchise's canon, and that has been in the works since 2016. According to Millar, and as the name appropriately suggests, this game is a series, and it will consist of three episodes plus a Lightsaber Dojos that will be available for purchase all in the one package.
For those of you who may not be aware, Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series was initially released in May of last year for the Oculus Quest, and is now being ported to the PlayStation VR. It has been often described as an immersive experience that has an even more enthralling story.
Sadly, the developers didn't give us an official gamepla ytrailer for the game, but they did share a small batch of in-game screenshots to give players an idea of what to expect once Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series launches for the PlayStation VR later this year.
