Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series was recently released for the PlayStation VR, and players have already been able to try out one of the games that, according to the developers at ILMxLAB, is one of the most immersive video game experiences based on a Star Wars game.
The game gives players a unique story that sees them exploring Vader's newfound homeworld planet of Mustafar, where they will learn the ways of the force, get their own lightsaber, and fight enemies like a proper Jedi, so there's a lot for fans of the Star Wars series to love here.
What's slightly disappointing is that Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series has been barely promoted by PlayStation or the developers. Two trailers were only released for the game, and both of them were released in August; one of them on launch day.
The good news is that today PlayStation has released a rather fascinating, and quite lengthym behind the scenes video for the game, which sees Director Ben Snow, Writer and Executive Producer David S. Goyer, Executive Producer Mark S. miller, and Lead QA Marissa Martinez-Hoadley revealing a bunch of details about Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series.
This new behind the scenes video for Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series also shows off some gameplay, so if you still haven't had the chance to try out the game, or are on the fence about purchasing it, be sure to give it a watch; most definitely a video the developers should've released before the game became available.
Take a look:
Vader Immortal is a cinematic, interactive experience that lets you step inside a galaxy far, far away into the role of a smuggler operating near Mustafar, the fiery planet that Darth Vader calls home. You’ll find yourself in a grand adventure where you can hone your lightsaber skills, navigate dangers, and come face to face with Vader himself.
Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series is currently available for the PlayStation VR.
