Walmart Canada is something else. The company had spoiled many E3 2018 suspires right before its official beginning, including the reveal of
Rage 2, Just Cause 4, Assassin's Creed (that later turned out to be titled
Odyssey),
Lego DC Super-Villains, Forza Horizon 4, and even
Gears of War 5 (shorten by Microsoft to
Gears 5). It's seemingly wasn't enough, as Walmart Canada strikes back once again.
This time, the Canadian division of the American multinational retail corporation has announced to Twitter that Hideo Kojima's mysterious PlayStation exclusive
Death Stranding will be released in June. In a true casual fashion, Walmart Canada answered to a fan's question yesterday, spoiling that
Stranding pre-orders will start shipping in June, with June 30, 2019 being its worldwide release date.
Obviously, it might be a simple joke, but knowing Walmart Canada's track-record it's highly unlikely. According to Brazilian site Combo Infinito,
Death Stranding official release date reveal will happen during this year's Game Awards that will take place on December 6, 2018. Rumor has it that Sony will also reveal release dates for PS4 exclusives
Ghost of Tsushima and
Dreams in the very near future.
