The holiday season is officially upon us, and although we're still a few weeks away from Thanksgiving, Walmart is giving us a chance to get our shopping done early. While Black Friday — the busiest shopping day of the season — was typically reserved for the day after Thanksgiving, the rise of online shopping has led to retailers launching holiday dealers earlier than ever.
Today, Walmart kicked off its 2024 Black Friday deals with up to 70% off hundreds of items, including video games, televisions, and more. The Black Friday deals run from November 11-17, but the week-long sale is probably just the tip of the sales iceberg. Black Friday isn't technically until Friday, November 29th, which means more deals could be offered later this month.
For now, though, you can still enjoy discounts on various Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo games, consoles, and peripherals. Below are some of the highlights!

All of Walmart's early Black Friday deals can be found here.
In all honesty, there's not much in terms of must-buy right now. But as I mentioned, it's still early and this doesn't like it will be the full offering. I fully expect more, and better deals, to come as we approach Black Friday and get deeper into the holiday season.
For example, Nintendo usually discounts its games by $30 on Black Friday. And this sale usually applies to all retailers. Last year, there were dozens of Nintendo Switch games available for $29.99 or lower, so expect something similar again this year.
There will also likely be Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 bundles offered at some point, although nothing official has been announced yet. The deals above on games are mostly "rollback" offers, so it doesn't look like the Black Friday sale has applied to video games.
Electronic Arts and Ubisoft are two other major publishers that typically see their games discounted for the holidays. EA's line of sports titles, such as Madden NFL 25, NHL 25, EA Sports FC 25 and EA Sports College Football 25 could get a discount. Meanwhile, Ubisoft's Star Wars Outlaws, which didn't sell well upon release, could be this year's big discounted blockbuster. We'll have to wait and see as we get closer to Black Friday.
