Fantasy Grounds has released a preview of its latest test build version 4.5.0. This update is packed with features that will enhance the gaming experience for both Game Masters and players.
With the test build now available in the Fantasy Grounds Test Channel, users can explore a wide range of new functionalities designed to streamline gameplay and provide more immersive storytelling opportunities.
One of the most notable features showcased in the preview is the revamped user interface, which offers improved organization and accessibility. Users will notice new headers and sections within various windows, such as items and NPCs, making navigating and managing game assets easier.
Additionally, Game Masters can now benefit from enhanced control over NPC tokens, including full-body images and token camera views. The addition of a share option allows GMs to seamlessly distribute images to players, enhancing communication and immersion during gameplay sessions.
The preview also introduces innovative tools for map management. Players can now hover over tokens to quickly identify them, even when zoomed out. The new ping mode facilitates communication by highlighting specific areas of interest. The addition of a camera mode provides a dynamic perspective, allowing GMs to explore maps from different angles and provide immersive views for players.
Apart from these map enhancements, the test build includes updates to module navigation, providing easier access to reference materials and adventure content. Users can now explore modules directly from the story interface, streamlining the process of running adventures and accessing game resources.
