Carmen Sandiego is set to return in 2019 in an upcoming animated reboot series by Netflix. The streaming service recently revealed the exact release date for the series to be January 18th, 2019 and released a teaser poster - which appropriately reads "She's back."

Gina Rodriguez (Jane The Virgin) will star in the series as the titular adventuring thief. The character debuted back in the 1980s as the focus of a video-game series in which the player is tasked with finding her. The game's also spawned a cartoon series by the name of: Where in The World Is Carmen Sandiego - which aired throughout the 90s.

Check out the teaser poster below:

What do you think of the poster? Are you looking forward to the upcoming Carmen Sandiego animated series?

Carmen Sandiego will debut on Netflix on January 19th, 2019.
