After Metacritic's list of the worst games of the year, it's time for some good news, and Nintendo has many reasons to celebrate. Their The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is not only the best reviewed game of the year (on both Switch and Wii U), but also the twelfth best game of all time! Interestingly enough, the top spot belongs to another Zelda, N64's Ocarina of Time with whooping 99%.

The silver medal goes to Super Mario Odysseyn and the bronze one (Breath already has the top spot, so we're going to ignore the Wii U version) belongs to Atlus' Persona 5. Overall, it has been a very good year for everyone, as every major platform has a worthy representative. Take a look:

1. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Switch) - 97%
2. Super Mario Odyssey (Switch) - 97%
3. Persona 5 (PS4) - 93%
4. Divinity: Original Sin II (PC) - 93%
5. What Remains of Edith Finch (XONE) - 92%
6. Undertale (PS4) - 92%
7. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Switch) - 92%
8. Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove (Switch) - 91%
9. Bayonetta (PC) - 90%
10. Lone Echo (PC) - 89%
