THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: BREATH OF THE WILD 2 Voice Actors Have Finished Working On The Game

We have some news on the development of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, as Spanish voice actors Marcel Navarro and Nerea Alfonso mention that they have already finished working on the recording.

In what is likely one of the most unexpected announcements made during last year's E3, Nintendo had the audacity to reveal that a direct sequel to the critically acclaimed, and best-selling The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild was currently in the works exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.

Ever since the announcement was made, information about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 — working title, as it will probably end up being called something else — has not bee nrevealed. All we know, so far, is that the game is the result of too many DLC ideas for the first game; enough to actually warant a sequel, according to series producer Eiji Aonuma.

We finally have some news on the development of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, as Spanish voice actors Marcel Navarro and Nerea Alfonso — the voices of Revali and Princess Zelda in the localised version of the game, respectively — have recently revealed that their work on the game's recording has finished.

This information was revealed during a Spanish podcast called Un Café con Nintendo, as reported by Game Reactor, where actor Marcel Navarro accidentally spilled the beans and then sort of retracted it by saying "there was something happening with the second[Breath of the Wild] part, although I don't know if I can say that we have dubbed the game or not," as he is interrupted by Nerea Alfonso with a "it is unknown".

While this may not be much, it does mean that the developers at Nintendo are still working hard on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2; in spite of the pandemic, that is. This also confirms that Revali is making a comeback, so flashbacks will probably play an essential part in the game's story; much like they did in the first title.

Players hoped to see Nintendo revealing new information about the sequel to the critically acclaimed title during this year's E3, but we all know how that went after the event was cancelled. Hopefully the developers will release new official information about the project soon.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel is currently in the works exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
