With the Supergirl movie flying into theaters this week, Epic Games have announced a collaboration with DC and Warner Bros. to bring the character to Fortnite.
Fans can look forward to a character skin inspired by Milly Alcock's Supergirl, and we got a sneak peek of her in-game below.
Epic also shared a video showing Alcock's reaction to seeing herself in the game. Though it sounds like she may not be a hardcore gamer, she did acknowledge that she has two brothers who game.
"I think it's cool," she said. "I hope they think I'm cool. That's how you know you're really cool is if your younger siblings think you're cool."
Supergirl isn't the only one arriving this week in celebration of the film. Her superheroic pooch Krypto will also be available as a sidekick. Alcock admitted that she thinks Krypto will be the favorite.
However, for those who do play as her in Fortnite, she has one request: “Make sure I win in the game when you play with me. Do me proud.”
Milly Alcock plays Kara Zor-El in the new Supergirl movie, which hits theaters in North America on June 26. The movie begins its regional rollouts starting June 24, so we should probably expect the cosmetics to be available soon.
At this point, it's still unclear if there will be a full cosmetics lineup supporting Supergirl or if it will only be the character skin and sidekick. Usually these sort of collaborations also include other cosmetics, including back bling, emotes, and pickaxes. Then they are usually packaged together in a bundled deal or offered separately. The video, however, did at least confirm there will be two variants of the Supergirl skin: one with and one without her long trench coat.
Epic Games has not yet announced pricing details, but we can look forward to more details leaking as the collaboration should arrive in the item shop on or before June 26.
Fortnite has partnered with DC on multiple collaborations over the years, introducing some of the brand's most iconic characters including Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Harley Quinn, the Joker, and more.
In 2025, the game featured a Superman skin based on David Corenswet's portrayal of Superman from the 2025 DCU film. This also featured a Pen & Ink comic-inspired alternate style, a cape, pickaxe, glider, and emotes. Fortnite was also updated to include a Superman Mythic item that let players temporarily transform into Superman and wield his powers as well as the Fortress of Solitude as a point of interest on the map.
