HALO Games Aimed At A Younger Audience Could Be On The Way Somewhere Down The Line

Halo is one of the most popular franchises in video game history, but could the series head down a very different path at some point in the next few years? It sounds like it's now a very real possibility...

Last week, footage from a Halo Mega Bolks game which was supposed to be released for the Xbox 360 found its way online (you can see the video below), and since then, there's been a great deal of talk about a title in the long running franchise which could very well be aimed at a younger audience.

Now, Halo developer 343 Industries has teased that the reaction to the leaked footage could very well lead to a very different sort of game being released somewhere down the line. "Who knows, with so much positive support and feedback coming to light, we may yet see Halo experiences along these lines at some point in the future," 343 Industries' community manager teased in a recent blog post.

Whether or not this will ever come to fruition remains to be seen, but it would certainly be a lot of fun to see the Halo franchise handled in such a drastically different way. Introducing younger players to the series would be no bad thing either, especially as the current franchise shows no signs of slowing down. We'll just have to wait and see, but let us know your thought on this news down below.
